The Physics Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking to hire one or more Full-Time
Lecturers for academic year 2013-2014 to begin September 2013, with
possible extension to a second year. Salary is commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Primary duties and responsibilities are
to teach undergraduate physics and possibly astronomy courses. A Ph.D.
in physics or astronomy (or a closely related field with a strong
physics background) is required. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be
completed before September 16, 2013. Preference will be given to
candidates with evidence of (or potential for) excellence in teaching.
