Teacher at Trinity Valley School


Trinity Valley School is actively seeking a full-time Upper School physics instructor for the 2013-2014 academic year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach both regular and honors sections of the physics course that is the capstone of the science requirement for graduation.  This is also an opportunity to become a leader in an innovative AP Physics C program at the school.
This ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:  a thorough knowledge of physics, a passion for teaching high-school aged students, a strong commitment to laboratory work, and the desire to aid in the innovation and development of an interdisciplinary science curriculum.  A Masters degree in physics or a related science with more than three years teaching experience is preferred.  The applicant should also feel very comfortable in the use of technology throughout all aspects of the curriculum.

Trinity Valley School, founded in 1959, is a 960 student co-educational, college preparatory day school for grades K-12.  The 75-acre campus is located in southwest Fort Worth, Texas.  The Upper School consists of 340 students in grades 9-12.
