TT at Chestnut Hill College PA

The Chemistry and Physics Department at Chestnut Hill College invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Professor of Physics to begin in August 2014. The appointment is for a tenure-track position.

In addition to classroom and laboratory teaching, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• upkeep of the laboratory, the observatory, and the planetarium;
• hiring adjuncts;
• preparing the annual budget; and
• implementing assessment projects

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics and teaching experience in general physics and physics subjects related to general education.
