The Department of Physics at Georgetown University invites
applications for a Visiting Professor position, beginning Fall 2014. The
initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal
depending on departmental needs. The successful candidate will teach two
courses per semester. While these will mostly be undergraduate courses,
interest in teaching graduate courses is a plus.
Candidates
should have a Ph.D. in Physics or a related discipline. Those with
teaching experience and evidence of teaching effectiveness will be given
priority.
