The Physics Department at Hollins University seeks applications for a
Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics for the 2014-2015 academic year.
Responsibilities include teaching at least 4 courses including a
year-long, algebra-based introductory physics course (including
laboratory) as well as a semester course in astronomy (for non-majors.)
An M.S. degree in physics or related field is required, with a
preference given for candidates with a Ph.D. and teaching experience.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal history background check.
