Located in the Finger Lakes region in Canandaigua, NY, the College is in an area known for its beautiful natural surroundings (including Canandaigua Lake), exquisite fall foliage, and local wineries. 1. Qualifications: M.S. in Physics. Teaching experience preferred, especially at the community college level. Chemistry background and/or applied physics background preferred.
2. Essential Functions:
A. Provide classroom instruction to students
B. Provide academic advisement through student meetings, evaluations and assessment of advisees' academic programs
C. Serve on college committees
D. Participate in curriculum development activities
E. Maintain office hours and be available to students as needed and as stated in the bargaining agreement
F. Participate in professional growth and development activities
G. Attend commencement and professional workshop days as defined by the college calendar
H. Perform appropriate other duties as requested by the Provost/Department Chair
