The Department of Physics at Muhlenberg College seeks to fill a
one-year visiting position at the assistant professor level to begin in
the
fall of 2015.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in physics and a commitment to teaching. All areas of specialization will be considered. Typical class sizes are about 16 students, with a teaching load of three courses per semester.
Muhlenberg College is a highly-selective, undergraduate institution of 2,200 students located in Allentown, PA, about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of Manhattan, and is in close proximity to the Appalachian Trail.
