Salish Kootenai College seeks applications for a physics and astronomy instructor. The individual in this position is expected to teach a year-long calculus-based general physics sequence and an introduction to astronomy course. The selected candidate will also teach additional courses in information technology, engineering or mathematics, maintain regular scheduled office hours, and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
A master's degree in physics or a related field is required. Past teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and the ability to communicate through written, spoken, and visual media.
