New College of Florida invites applicants for a non-tenure-track, full time instructor and lab support position in Physics starting in Jan. 2016. Minimum qualifications are a M.S. degree in Physics or a related field and 3 years of professional experience. Alternately, the preferred qualification is a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field. The successful candidate will teach a two-semester sequence of Physics Laboratory courses, supervise student assistants, and provide laboratory and lecture demonstration support for other courses. In addition, this position includes repairing equipment and assisting other staff with maintaining safety equipment.
