Teaching Assistant/Associate Professor, Colorado School of Mines

Colorado School of Mines invites applications for the position of Teaching Assistant Professor or Teaching Associate Professor position in the Department of Physics, to begin in the fall of 2016.  

The department encourages and supports innovation in teaching and learning, and has developed effective methods of instruction at the introductory and advanced levels.  The successful candidate will become part of the departmental instructional faculty team, which has primary responsibility for delivering introductory calculus-based physics using a studio approach.  The successful candidate may also be assigned to teach other parts of the undergraduate curriculum as appropriate.  Candidates must have earned a doctoral degree in physics or a related field by August 2016.
