Full-time tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning August 2016. Review of applications will begin in December 2015 and continue until the position is filled.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. physics or related science. Applications should include evidence of (or potential for) excellence in teaching, and the ability to establish an externally-funded research program suitable for undergraduate teaching education. Occasionally they may be asked to teach a physical science course for non-majors. We also seek a colleague who will contribute to the University's general education curriculum with its emphasis on First-Year Seminar which is intended to enhance students' critical thinking, and the College's support of interdisciplinary programs.
