The Department of Physics and Environmental Science at St. Marys University invites applications for a
tenure-track position in Physics at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2016.
A Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, or Astronomy is required at the time of appointment.
Teaching experience and evidence of quality research involving undergraduates is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced physics, developing new courses for the
Physics program, and participating in university service activities.
The Department of Physics and Environmental Science offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Physics, and
Environmental Science, and B.S. degrees in Physics with a Biophysics Option and Applied Physics.
