Millsaps College invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, beginning fall 2016. The position is open to applicants from all branches of physics. A biophysicist who could also contribute to either our neuroscience or biology programs is of particular interest to the College. A Ph.D. is preferred but candidates with ABD will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will include a two-semester introductory physics sequence with accompanying labs. In addition, the successful candidate will teach upper level laboratory and lecture courses.
