Administrative stuff

Hello PER Jobs readers!

At the AAPT/AAAS meeting last week, we got some lovely press from the PERTG. If you just stumbled upon PER Jobs, welcome! PER Jobs is a comprehensive listing of all jobs of interest to the Physics Education Research Community. We post PhD studentships through Deanships, teaching and research, in science departments (from cognitive science to physics), schools of education, industry, and other associated fields. We post mainly US jobs because that's most of the jobs we find, but we also post international jobs. If you find a job that's not posted, send it to perjobs@gmail.com.

We have two wonderful new editors, MP (who started several months ago) and MB (who started this morning). Both of them were readers before they became editors, and I'm really excited that the community of editors is growing. They join me, LE, and a small group of regular contributors. If you're a loyal reader, think about becoming an editor too!

Lately, a number of people have emailed perjobs@gmail.com asking for a (paid) job. PER Jobs does not have a paid staff, and we don't collect resumes for potential applicants for other positions. If you need help searching the site, there's a search box at the upper left and some post tags to the right. You can also email perjobs@gmail.com with questions. Please do not spam your resume to us. If you want to be an editor, we don't need your CV. A letter of interest is sufficient.
