Lecturer at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus

(IUPUC) delivers IU and Purdue bachelor’s and master’s degree programs to meet the needs of southeast central Indiana. Applications are being accepted for a non tenure-track faculty position in Physics, at the rank of Lecturer, to begin August 2009.

Requirements: The Ph.D. in Physics is preferred, although candidates with a master’s degree will receive consideration. The ability to teach foundations of classical physics (including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and optics) and elementary astronomy is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have a record of effectiveness and innovation in university level teaching.
