Visiting Lecturer at Gonzaga Univ.

The Department of Physics invites applications for a one-year sabbatical replacement position at the Lecturer level beginning August 31, 2010. This position is non tenure-track and may be renewable for a second year pending need and funding. The successful applicant's primary responsibility will be classroom teaching and laboratory instruction for introductory courses, both calculus and/or algebra based. Teaching at the advanced undergraduate level is possible depending on interests and experience of applicant.

Required qualifications: applicants will have earned a PhD in Physics by August 2010, however, applicants with a Master's degree coupled with classroom teaching experience may be considered. Applicants trying to initiate a teaching career in academia are encouraged to apply.
