ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ENGINEERING PHYSICS
TENURE TRACK – FALL 2013 - 2014

JOB DESCRIPTION
Successful candidates must be able to teach undergraduate physics courses including thermodynamics and mechanics and demonstrate potential for excellence in mentoring undergraduate students and producing scholarly outcomes. Candidate must be able to teach advanced physics laboratories and have knowledge of Labview.


REQUIREMENTS
PH.D. in Physics or Engineering Physics is required. Research experience in laser spectroscopy is preferable but all areas of expertise will be strongly considered.

Faculty members are expected to maintain active participation in research, scholarship, college governance, service, academic advisement and professional development activities.
