The Department of Physics at Villanova University invites
applications for a tenure track position with a rank of Assistant
Professor
starting August 2014. We seek outstanding applicants who will enhance
and expand experimental Physics research in the department. Applicants
must be strongly committed to the teacher-scholar model within a Liberal
Arts & Sciences environment in a primarily undergraduate
institution. Preference will be given to areas that complement existing
research in the department in biological physics, solid state
physics, photonics and nanoscale condensed matter and materials physics.
However, all areas of experimental Physics, including
interdisciplinary areas, will be considered.
