FT Lecturer at Case Western Reserve

The Department of Physics at Case Western Reserve University is seeking a Full Time Lecturer to teach courses in the College of Arts and Sciences Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program (STEP), which include Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Math and Statistics. The Lecturer will teach venture creation and feasibility of technology courses in the program and work with faculty members in Physics and other departments to plan courses, prepare and deliver lectures, and supervise and mentor students in the program that are starting companies or seeking internships. The position also includes carrying out administrative aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, marketing, public relations, STEP alumni relations, and development, including grant writing and seeking other sources of support. The position is an academic year appointment with the possibility of summer instruction under a separate contract.

A Masters Degree in science entrepreneurship is highly desirable, as is experience in the development of entrepreneurship programs and teaching entrepreneurship courses. A Bachelors degree is required.
