3-year VAP at Berry College GA

Berry College has an opening for a three-year faculty position in physics beginning August 2014. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) or Masters (for appointment as Instructor) in physics or a closely related field and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate physics teaching. Duties include teaching physics courses at the introductory and advanced undergraduate level and possibly supervising undergraduate research. The department strongly supports the use of active learning strategies.
