1 or 2-Year FT Instructorship, Rutgers (Newark campus)

The Physics Department of Rutgers University - Newark campus is seeking to fill an opening for a full-time non-tenure track instructor position, starting the fall of 2015. The position is for one year, possibly renewable for another year. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. and is expected to teach 12 credit hours, corresponding to four 3-credit courses, per week. The candidate should have experience in teaching large lower level physics courses such as General Physics, recitations, and Astronomy. The position includes full New Jersey State health benefits.
