GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will support the Physical Sciences department.  Duties may include any or all of the following:

  • Teach lectures and laboratories in Physics
  • Prepare lectures, syllabi and tests
  • Grade and assess student work
  • Develop and implement new classroom strategies
  • Consult with students and advise on academic progress
  • Maintain competence through continuous professional development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Physics or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.  
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHave the ability to work with colleagues/students and to convey knowledge in a form that students can understand.  Adaptable to students’ needs, to different teaching situations, and be able to motivate students.  Able to work in teams and independently.  Previous teaching experience.
