The Department of Engineering-Physics-Systems at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position commencing in August 2016. The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. in physics from an accredited institution and demonstrate the promise of excellence in undergraduate teaching at all levels within a physics-based curriculum. We seek an individual who will establish a vibrant ongoing research program involving undergraduate researchers and who will be active in service to the college. As our student body becomes increasingly diverse, we welcome applicants with experience teaching and mentoring students from a range of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
