The University of Washington Bothell (UWB) seeks dynamic physics educators to join the Physical Sciences Division of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). We invite applicants for one or more full-time (100%) Assistant Teaching Professor positions for a 9-month service period with opportunities to teach during the summer. Appointments are for up to five years, renewable, and are not tenure eligible. The start date is September 16, 2021.
The primary responsibilities of this position are teaching, mentoring undergraduates, and service. The successful candidate is expected to engage in modern pedagogy, engage students in undergraduate research, contribute to UW Bothell’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work enthusiastically in an inclusive and interdisciplinary culture of learning.
