FT/PT (multiple) at Louisiana State

Non-tenure track Instructor position(s) are available beginning as early as Spring 2014.  Full-time position is available for a term of one year.  Part-time positions are available on a semester basis.  Continuation of employment is possible, contingent on performance and the availability of adequate funding.  Responsibilities:  Teaches undergraduate classes in physical science, algebra-based and calculus-based physics classes.  Full-time positions normally teach four courses/semester, but one course may be replaced with equivalent number of hours of department service if approved by the department.  Required Qualifications:  Master's degree in Physics or a closely related field.  Additional Qualifications Desired:  Ph.D. (by Jan. 2014) in Physics or a closely related field; previous teaching experience.  A.B.D (All But Dissertations) candidates will also be considered.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
