Physics: The Department of Natural Sciences at Lawrence
Technological University, Southfield, MI invites applications for a
Senior Lecturer in physics. This non-tenure track full time faculty
position will begin in Fall, 2014. The successful candidate will
teach all levels of undergraduate lecture and laboratory physics
courses, and take a leadership role in updating the laboratory
curriculum. Applicants must have Ph.D. in physics with postdoctoral
and teaching experience preferred. Exceptional candidates in any
area are encouraged to apply, although nanoscience, nanotechnology,
experimental optics and lasers, biologically oriented physics, high
energy physics, and atomic physics are of particular interest.
Preference will also be given to candidate with the ability to
supervise undergraduate student research, and a strong desire to
assist in interdisciplinary studies, educational research, grant
writing, program development, and student recruitment. Review of
