Dean of Science and Sustainability, Aquinas College MI

Aquinas College seeks a Dean of Science and Sustainability.  This position will provide visionary leadership for the transformation and advancement of the sciences in curriculum, teaching, and research; and for the continued integration, development, and strengthening of the culture of Economicology and sustainability. (Economicology, a term coined by Peter Wege, focuses on the 6 E’s: Economics, Ecology, Environment, Ethics, Education & Empathy).

Applicants must have teaching experience and must possess a Ph.D. in a natural or physical science at the time of hire. The successful candidate will be committed to the principles of sustainability and liberal arts education. This individual will ideally have experience with administration, successful grant acquisition, and community partnerships. The Dean of Science and Sustainability will lead the college’s effort to rebuild and equip its science facility.
