MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's degree in physics or a related field. Bachelor's degree in physics
with an appropriately related Master's degree will also be considered.
Experience: Teaching experience preferably in a community college setting dealing
with diverse student populations.
Skills/Abilities:
1. Ability to teach algebra-based introductory level physics course.
2. Ability to use appropriate instructional technology.
3. Ability to develop and use innovative instructional approaches such as collaborative learning and group problem solving.
4. Ability and willingness to work well with administrators, staff, faculty, college administrators.
