New River is seeking applications for Adjunct Faculty to teach
Chemistry during the day at James Monroe High School as well as day and
evening Physics and Chemistry courses at all of New River's Campuses in
Summersville, Princeton, Beaver, and Lewisburg, WV.
Education:
Master's degree in the field or closely related discipline with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the
subject area from a regionally accredited institution is required.
Experience:
Two (2) or more years of full time equivalency of demonstrated teaching experience is preferred.
Experience utilizing
technology in the classroom and in teaching is preferred.
Reports to:
Dean for Transfer and Pre-Professional Programs
Classification:
These are part-time, non-benefits eligible positions
