Assistant Professor of Physics

Pepperdine University's Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences, located in Malibu, California, invites applications for a tenure track, assistant professor position in Physics beginning in the 2017-2018 academic year. Applicants, who have completed a Ph.D. in experimental physics by July, 2017, are desired; however, exceptional applicants with expertise in other areas of physics, biophysics, or engineering will be considered.

Candidates will have a preference and demonstrated ability for teaching physics for undergraduates majoring in physics as well as to science and non-science majors. Candidates must be proficient in both written and spoken English and must demonstrate an active commitment to the university's Christian mission and heritage. Located near Los Angeles in southern California, Pepperdine University is especially interested in candidates capable of contributing through their teaching, research and service to the diversity and excellence of the University and our surrounding community.
