The College of Wooster Physics Department invites applications for a three-year visiting position in Physics beginning Fall 2017 to teach upper and lower level physics courses and labs, and to guide student research projects. Applicants should have a strong commitment to undergraduate education; the ability to meaningfully involve undergraduate students in research is essential. Ph.D. in Physics or related field required. The College of Wooster enrolls a diverse student body (19% domestic students of color and 10% international students); applicants should have experience with diverse student populations. The College of Wooster is an independent liberal arts institution with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Our department is an inclusive community with close faculty-student interactions and mentoring. Our physics club has won national awards for its elementary school outreach program.
