The Department of Physics at Lebanon Valley College invites applications for the position of assistant professor of Physics beginning August 2017. This full-time, three-year, renewable term position (with the potential for conversion to tenure track) requires a Ph.D. in physics or a related field.
Qualifications
The
successful candidate will be expected to develop an upper-division
elective course in physics, while also contributing to courses at the
introductory level. The successful candidate will also be expected to
establish an undergraduate research program, preferably in an area of
experimental physics. Opportunities also exist for engaging in our
vital liberal arts curriculum. Candidates with experience in innovative
teaching pedagogies and learning technologies are encouraged to apply.
