Dordt College is seeking a faculty member in physics, or engineering physics beginning August 2017. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper level physics courses, including laboratory sections where appropriate. A background that prepares the candidate to teach courses in an interdisciplinary or applied physics area (e.g. bio or medical physics, geophysics, electronics, etc.) is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who can create and mentor undergraduate research opportunities. An earned doctoral degree is preferred; a master’s degree is required.
