TT at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia

The Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics starting August 15, 2009. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics and a background or expertise in biophysics, medical physics or condensed matter physics. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, to initiating a research program, and to involving undergraduate students in research. The Department is located in state of the art facilities in the new McNeil Science and Technology Center along with the Departments of Biological Sciences and the Department of Bioinformatics & Computer Science.

USP is a private University with an enrollment of 2,600 undergraduate and graduate students, with programs in the natural sciences, pharmacy, and other health related areas.
