Although candidates in all sub-disciplines of Physics are encouraged to apply preference will be given to those who establish a research program that can engage and inspire students.  Successful applicants for this position must have an earned doctorate in Physics, Physics Education (with a Masters in Physics), or a closely related field.

Applications and nominations will be accepted until the position is filled. To guarantee consideration, application materials must be postmarked by June 1, 2009.  Review of applications will commence on June 1, 2009 and will continue until the positions are filled.
