VAP at Shippensburg University

The Physics Department of Shippensburg University invites applications for a one-year, full-time faculty position starting in August 2012. Responsibilities: Teach physics courses at all levels. In addition, faculty members are expected to perform other duties as assigned in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Required Skills/Qualifications: A Ph.D. is required and prior teaching experience is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate teaching effectiveness at all levels of the physics curriculum and show evidence of a commitment to understanding diverse populations as a part of the interview process.
