VAP at University of North Carolina at Charlotte

This is a 9-month position beginning August 1, 2012 with an initial 3-year contract. Required qualifications at time of appointment: an MA or MS degree in physics, optical science, astronomy, or a related field; ability to teach lecture and laboratory courses at the college or university level; and a commitment to teaching students from diverse backgrounds and to promote diversity as a value within the Department and the University. Desired qualifications: a Ph.D. in physics, optical science, astronomy, or a related field.
