TT at Midwestern State

Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Physics at the assistant professor level to begin in August 2013. A P.h.D in Physics or a closely related field is required, and prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred. Responsibilities will include teaching Physics courses for non-majors, as well as teaching courses in support of the Physics minor and teaching courses in the proposed new joint degree program through the Texas Physics Consortium. Applicants prepared to supervise undergraduate student research projects will be given preference. Area of specialization may be any area of Physics or Astronomy.
