TT Physics/Engineering at Highland CC, IL

Highland Community College is a small, but vibrant community college in the northwest corner of Illinois, within 125 miles of Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. We are seeking a full-time tenure-track instructor in Physics & Engineering beginning the fall 2015 semester. The Physics & Engineering instructor position requires a master's degree in physics or a related field. If physics and engineering course enrollments dictate, the instructor may also teach a mathematics course. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least three years of experience in teaching post-secondary level physics, engineering, and mathematics courses. The successful applicant will participate in recruitment activities in order to grow the Engineering Program. There is a lab component to the courses taught and the successful applicant will be expected to set up and conduct these labs throughout the semester.
