FT at Concordia University Wisconsin

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in Physics beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year.
A doctorate in physics or a closely related field is preferred, although highly qualified applicants possessing significant progress (ABD) toward a doctorate will be considered. Prior teaching experience is desirable. Moreover, candidates should be committed to student learning and professional development.
Academic responsibilities will include teaching introductory algebra- and calculus-based physics courses and upper-level courses designed for students minoring in physics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in developing an undergraduate research program to augment science offerings in biological sciences, chemistry, and/or a variety of pre-health programs offered at CUW. Additional responsibilities include committee work, advising, and department development.
