Assistant Prof. of Physics - Jacksonville University (FL)

Assistant Professor, tenure track, beginning August 2020. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics (completed by August 15, 2020), with a background in either theoretical physics or physics education research. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and a background in biophysics, condensed matter physics, econophysics, or high-energy physics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, including research methods. Research involving undergraduates or other engaged learning experiences with industry, collaborating academic institutions, national and regional labs is encouraged. The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills.
