Applications are invited for a tenure-track assistant professor position that starts August 2020. A commitment to teaching of both undergraduate physics majors and non-majors is essential. A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field is required. Hillsdale College is a private, well-endowed, co-educational, liberal arts school of 1450 students, founded in 1844. It is located on a 200-acre site in a beautiful, small Michigan town. The Physics Department is well equipped and has 19,000 sq. ft. of floor space. Salary is competitive with similar schools.
