Midway University invites applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor in Physics and Math in the Department of Math and Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences beginning in the fall of 2020.
The successful candidate will develop and teach courses at the undergraduate level; Courses will be taught both in face-to-face and online formats. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues. All faculty are expected to advise students, serve on committees, be engaged in campus life, and maintain currency in the field. Research in the field is encouraged, but not required.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Physics and at least 18 hours of graduate level math or an undergraduate degree in math.
Review of applications will begin October 7, 2019. The position will remain open until filled.
