Manchester College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics. The position is a one-year sabbatical replacement and will teach introductory courses for science and non-science majors as well as advanced courses for physics majors. The introductory and advanced courses both include lab components. Expertise in astronomy is preferred, but all specializations will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in an undergraduate, liberal arts institution. An earned Doctorate in Physics, Astronomy or related field or completion of doctoral dissertation defense by the time of the appointment is preferred.
