The Physics and Astronomy Department of Saint Mary’s College of California invites applications for a visiting assistant professor beginning in August 2011. This is a two-year appointment, renewable for one additional year.
We seek an individual who is committed to excellent teaching, able to teach a wide range of undergraduate physics classes, and interested in developing courses and projects in applied or engineering physics.
Qualifications:
• PhD in physics or closely related field is required.
• Prior teaching or engineering experience is desirable
