Lecturer at University of Hull

Physics at Hull is part of the successful Department of Physical Sciences, consisting of the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, which in recent years has consistently recruited significantly larger numbers of undergraduate students and thus has benefitted from substantial investment in research and teaching facilities. The University is committed to a further major programme of investment in infrastructure and staff so we are seeking to recruit a lecturer in Physics to complement the main research themes of the department. Applications in the area of biophysics are particularly welcomed.

We are aiming to recruit a talented early-career academic looking to develop their own strong research portfolio aligned with the University’s main research themes and to contribute to teaching in Physics at basic and advanced levels. To discuss this role informally, please contact Professor GM Greenway, Head of Physical Sciences, T 01482 466355, G.M.Greenway@hull.ac.uk
