Professorship at the American University of Sharjah

The American University of Sharjah is seeking candidates for the position of assistant professor in Physics (any field of specialty), to begin September 2012. The department is particularly interested in individuals who are well acquainted with the American university system of education, extensive experience in a liberal arts college environment and with demonstrated or potential abilities to deliver excellent teaching for a range of undergraduate physics topics, and conduct research in their areas of expertise. Applicants must hold a PhD in Physics; degrees from North American universities are strongly preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately.
