The Department of Physics at Rhodes College invites applications for one-year sabbatical replacement positions beginning Fall 2012. Two such positions are anticipated. Successful applicants will be enthusiastic teachers capable of instruction at all levels of a rigorous undergraduate physics curriculum. Applicants should hold or expect to receive their Ph.D. in Physics or Astronomy by August of 2012.

A completed application includes a cover letter that addresses your interest in teaching at a liberal arts college, a CV, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, three letters of recommendation (at least two of which speak to the candidate's teaching abilities), and a statement of teaching philosophy.
