The Department of Physics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin in August 2012. The position requires a Ph.D. in Physics, and demonstrated ability for outstanding undergraduate teaching, advising, and scholarly work that can involve undergraduates. We are particularly interested in someone with a background in astrophysics and/or computational physics, although all research areas will be considered. The Physics Department has four tenure-track faculty positions and 90% of our graduates go on for advanced degrees, mostly in physics.
