Non-TT at California State University
FULL TIME LECTURESHIP IN PHYSICS. The Department of Physics and Engineering at California State University, Bakersfield invites applications for a Full-Time (academic year) Lecturer position starting April 2, 2013, and continuing through the end of the 2013-14 academic year. The position is not tenure-track but it is renewable pending funding, and subject to performance review. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach undergraduate physics including general education, lower- and upper-division physics, as well as electrical circuits, basic electronics, and associated laboratories. A Ph. D. in experimental physics or closely related field is preferred, but a M. S. will also be considered. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
